MCHI CREDAI's 22nd Real Estate and Housing Finance Exhibition at MMRDA Grounds, Bandra-Kurla Complex, Mumbai from 17th to 20th October, 2013

The Maharashtra Chamber of Housing Industry, a member of the Confederation of Real Estate Developers' Associations of India (MCHI-CREDAI), will conduct its 22nd real estate and housing finance exhibition in Mumbai. 

Now for the 13th year in a row, it is a one-stop destination for potential property buyers and investors in MMR. This quarter the expo will be held from October 17-20, 2013 at MMRDA Grounds, Bandra-Kurla Complex.

The primary objective of the exhibition is to provide a real world view of the promising real estate industry to its consumers.

The exhibition will provide a common platform of interaction for property buyers and developers. It will display multiple options of affordable housing, second homes, luxury residences as well as commercial and retail property options which have or will be coming up.


MCHI over the years has emerged as a strong bond between property buyers and developers. Buyers are invited to one of India’s most successful and trusted property exhibition.

Eastern Freeway opens for public - Travel time between South Mumbai and Pune reduced, Realtors excited

The much awaited and one of the major infrastructre projects of the commercial capital of the country, Eastern Expressway, was inaugurated on 13th June by Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan.

The Eastern Freeway is a signal free, controlled-access highway. It is a toll free orad and light weight vehicles like cars, jeeps, SUVs would be allowed.

The 13.59 km  signal free stretch will east traffic congestion in Chembur, Sion and Dadar and will bring down travel time from Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus to Chembur to a mere 25 mins. It will also provide speedy connectivity to Navi Mumbai, Panvel, Pune and Goa.

Salient Features:

- The Eastern Freeway is being built by the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) and funded by the Central Government through the JNNURM.

- The road was contracted to Simplex Infrastructure

- The Eastern Freeway is the second project in Mumbai to have seismic arresters. The first was Bandra-Worli Sea link. Seismic arresters will enable the freeway to withstand earthquakes measuring 7.5 on the Richter scale.

- One of the unique features of this project is the construction of Mumbai's first twin tunnel at the footsteps of the BARC mountain.

- The twin tunnels are 505 metres and 555 metres in length and will have four carriageways in each tunnel.
